My child's first dental visit

 

"Dr. Janssen, When should my child first see a dentist?"
  The first visit should be between the age of 2 and 3.  Early care is essential so that problems can be corrected simply.  We routinely counsel parents about newborn dental care as they are receiving their own dental care.  Regular brushing is essential whether the child likes it or not.  To do otherwise puts your child at risk of multiple dental problems.
